The Walla Walla Alliance for the Homeless will begin offering showers for the homeless at Pioneer United Methodist Church on Mondays from 11:30-1:30 on November 23. The shower is located next to the church’s dining room at 209 E. Birch, where a soup kitchen is also regularly offered on Mondays from 11:30-1:00. A shower signup sheet will be available on Mondays at 11:15. Shower staffing is by Alliance volunteers. For donations of shower supplies or to volunteer, email showers@wwallianceforthehomeless.com. In addition, a cell-phone charging station has also been set up in the dining room and will be available during lunches.
